I don't do this very often, but in this case, I'm cheerfully making an exception: you have to check this firm out.

In my view, social media is one of the most-talked-about but least-understood communication revolutions of the past couple decades: unions, NGOs, corporations, political parties and governments set up a Facebook account, or run a Twitter feed, and think they're transformed into communications hipsters. They think know what they're doing. Mostly, they don't.

To truly tap into the social media phenomenon, you probably need someone to help you do it. That's what I've found TransmitterMedia to be. These guys are the sharp tip of the spear.

Check 'em out, try 'em out. Web sites are so, like, 1999. With about half the country on Facebook, it's get with it time, folks.
