Not that I am interested, at all, in protecting any of these morons from a massive libel action. But you'd think they'd be checking out their "expert" sources - Marc Lemire and Bernard Klatt, the two men who have facilitated Internet access for just about every North American white supremacist and neo-Nazi group you can imagine.
Here's a nugget on Klatt, for instance. It wasn't hard to find. It's from Justice Pierre Blais of the Federal Court of Canada, in the national security certificate proceeding against Holocaust denier Ernst Zundel - Marc Lemire's former employer, by the way. (The relevant section of the judgment is found here, at paragraph 41; his views on Lemire's Heritage Front dalliances are found at paragraph 39.)
"...If, as Mr. Zündel claims, it is not a good idea to use websites to disseminate messages of racial hatred and incite violence in the pursuit of White Supremacist objectives and that it is not a good idea to post on the Internet a practical guide to Aryan revolution which included chapters on assassinations, terror bombings, sabotage and racial wars, then why would he qualify Bernard Klatt, the man responsible for posting this guide, as a gentle person, and maintain contact with Mr. Klatt over the years?"
That the Wicked Witches of the East and West, and their winged blogging monkeys, continue to rely on Messrs. Lemire and Klatt as "experts" surprises me not at all. But Levant and Steyn? They're smarter than that.
When in a hole, as I say, quit digging, boys.
